DESCRIPTION: The Home Town Streets/Safe Routes to School (HTSSRS) programs are intended to improve the quality of life in our communities. Projects aim to encourage reinvestment in and redevelopment of our downtowns, and to establish safe walking routes for children to commute to school where feasible. This project was recommended in the spring of 2005 for funding through the HTSSRS program. $518,880 funding will be drawn down at the appropriate time.
